IACA Delegation from Korea at the Federal Bureau of Anti-Corruption

On 24 October 2019, the Federal Bureau of Anti-Corruption (BAK) received a Korean delegation as part of an anti-corruption training session of the Korea Council of Public Organizations Audit, organized by the International Anti-Corruption Academy (IACA).

From 21 to 24 October, representatives of various public institutions in Korea, such as the Korea Electric Power Corporation, the Incheon International Airport Corporation and the Korean Teachers' Credit Union attended an anti-corruption training course at the IACA. On this occasion, a 36-member delegation visited the BAK on the last day of the training to learn more about the working methods and organization of the Bureau.
In addition to a brief presentation of the entire BAK by Verena Wessely, Head of Unit 2.3, introductory remarks were made on the various tasks of Department 2, Prevention, Education and International Cooperation. According to the primary interests of the delegation members, the focus of the presentation was on prevention work and the projects undertaken by the BAK in this field.
