Compliance and Corruption Prevention Advisory Service for the Vienna Hospital Association

Andreas Wieselthaler, Director of the Federal Bureau of Anti-Corruption (BAK), and Evelyn Kölldorfer-Leitgeb, Deputy Director-General and Head of the Organisation Development Department at the Vienna Hospital Association (KAV), concluded an advisory service agreement covering thorough compliance and corruption prevention consulting for selected segments of the Vienna Hospital Association.

On 22 November 2017 – during on-going compliance and corruption prevention consulting provided in particular by unit IV/BAK/2.1 – an information event took place at the Vienna Hospital Association, aiming at the provision of information to relevant stakeholders of the Association on core elements of the upcoming consultation and at the preparation of their future cooperation.

The plan is to hold joint (compliance) risk analysis workshops and conduct complementary analyses of the Association’s legal framework and process workflows, to identify areas of risk and specific risk factors, and to develop tailor-made prevention measures for the Vienna Hospital Association.
