Study visit: BAK delegation at KPK in Slovenia

From 14 to 16 January 2025, the Federal Bureau of Anti-Corruption (BAK) visited the Commission for the Prevention of Corruption (KPK) in Ljubljana, Slovenia, as part of a study visit. The visit focussed on the exchange of best practices for integrity measures in the education sector and anti-corruption awareness-raising measures for young people.

Headlined ‘Strengthening integrity through education’, BAK visited the KPK (Komisija za preprecevanje korupcije) in Slovenia, an autonomous and independent state organisation for the prevention of corruption, to exchange information on awareness-raising and integrity-promoting measures in the education sector and for young people.

Both organisations presented their projects and approaches to promoting integration and preventing corruption in the education sector in order to achieve synergy effects and further expand their activities in the respective countries and globally.

On the last day of the study visit, both organisations visited the Prežihov Voranc comprehensive school in Maribor. There, the delegations took part in an interactive English-language ethics lesson for Year 3 pupils. Together with the school's teaching staff, they discussed measures to promote integrity and their implementation.
