Board Meeting of the EPAC/EACN networks in Dublin

On 28 June 2023, the boards of the anti-corruption networks "European Partners against Corruption" (EPAC) and "European contact-point network against corruption" (EACN) met at the invitation of the Irish Board Member and Deputy Vice President of the Police Oversight Strand on the premises of the Irish Garda Síochána Ombudsman Commission.

As a founding member of the EPAC/EACN networks, the Federal Bureau of Anti-Corruption (BAK) has operated the EPAC/EACN Secretariat since 2016 (since 2022 together with the Lithuanian Special Investigation Service) and provides the Vice President of the Anti-Corruption Strand.

The meeting discussed the implementation of the current work programme and further activities of the networks as per the substantive priorities. The new EU anti-corruption package, cooperation with other international networks and EU funding of projects currently being implemented were thus the main topics of the meeting. In addition, plans were made for the 22nd EPAC/EACN Annual Professional Conference and General Assembly to be held in Dublin from 2 to 3 November 2023.
