Visit of a delegation of the Kosovar police to the BAK

On 13 November 2019, a high-ranking delegation of the Kosovar police, led by its Director General and accompanied by a representative of the OSCE Mission in Kosovo and the Kosovar Liaison Officer in Vienna, visited the Federal Bureau of Anti-Corruption (BAK).

The aim of the short visit was to familiarize the guests with Austrian standards and practices in the areas of preventing and combating corruption. The delegation was particularly interested in the BAK's methods and resources in connection with large-scale investigations as well as in anti-corruption training, value management and international exchange. On the latter, the representatives were given an understanding of the possibilities offered by the European anti-corruption platform "European Partners against Corruption".

The meeting created a good basis for any further cooperation between the two countries relating to the fight against and prevention of corruption.
