BAK delegation pays visit to new Dean of IACA

On 7 October 2024, a delegation from the Federal Bureau of Anti-Corruption (BAK) visited the new Dean of the International Anti-Corruption Academy (IACA) in Laxenburg. In addition to getting to know each other personally, the agenda of the long-standing cooperation partners included working together on numerous future projects.

On 3 October 2024, the European Commission hosted the second plenary meeting of the EU network against corruption in Brussels. The Federal Bureau of Anti-Corruption (BAK) was represented on site.

BAK presents ‘YOUTH4Integrity’ at UNODC

From 28 August to 6 September 2024, the resumed 15th meeting of the UNCAC Implementation Review Group took place at UNODC premises at Vienna International Centre. The Group serves as a subsidiary body of the Conference of the States Parties to the United Nations Convention against Corruption and is comprised of all States parties. BAK participated with a delegation.

BAK delegation at International Anti-Corruption Conference in Vilnius

The 21st International Anti-Corruption Conference (IACC) took place in Vilnius, Lithuania, from 18 to 21 June 2024. During the conference, the Federal Bureau of Anti-Corruption (BAK) was represented on the panel of a workshop of the EPAC/EACN networks.

Implementation Review Group of the UN Convention against Corruption (UNCAC)

Where do we stand internationally in the fight against corruption? How can the process be improved in individual countries? These were the focal points of the 15th meeting of the UNCAC Implementation Review Group (IRG) from 10 to 14 June 2024, which the BAK attended with a three-person delegation.
