The forum was held under the theme ‘The Integrity Advantage: Powering Competitiveness and Prosperity’ and provided a platform for discussions on current developments and challenges in the international fight against corruption.

The NGO Transparency International ranks Austria in the 21st place in the new Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI) published on 10 February 2026, of a total of 182 participating countries. Last year, Austria finished 25th.

On 27 January 2026, a delegation from the Republic of Moldova and a delegation from Norway visited the Federal Bureau of Anti-Corruption (BAK) as part of a study visit. The visit focused on the exchange of best of integrity measures, and in particular the Austrian Network of Integrity Officers (Integritätsbeauftragtennetzwerk or IBN).
